Those casinos don't have the same target market as Harrah's
That has nothing to do with my statement.

Isle of Capri in Lake Charles easy!
Posted on 2/12/17 at 8:59 am to TJG210
hahahahahahaha
NO
That honor has to go to Isle of Capri in Lula, MS, across the river from Helena-West Helena, AR.
Of course, I didn't know Lake Charles had one (also an Isle of Capri no less!) so I could be wrong.

But it has everything to do with the poster's overall point. I wasn't attacking you. Just wanted to point out that the overall point was correct, even though his 30-minute point was incorrect.

Boomtown isn't that bad.
The worst casino ever is the Amelia Belle.

Didn't want to start a new thread but does Cypress Bayou Casino still have blackjack? Does Evangeline Downs have blackjack? I don't make it to casinos very often but, those are the two closest to me.

The belle is a shite show.
Saw a dude in there with his cigarette down to the filter but never Ashed it once. It looked like that firework snake that expanded.
Been in the belle more times than I'd like to admit and there was always something

I just have the expectations that all casinos maybe outside of vegans type are various shades of shitholes

There is a casino boat in Natchez that is the worst one I have ever seen...and it isn't even close.
And I will add support to the Belle being a shithole. I haven't set foot inside that place since L'Auberge opened.

I always win when I go there. Can't say that about any other casino

My biggest complaint about Harrah's is that they became ridiculously stupid about validating parking. 30 minutes of gambling on player's card and not 1 minute less. They don't care how much money you spend at one of their restaurants or at the bar in Masquerade....they won't validate your parking unless your players card shows 30 minutes of play.
Final straw for me was after I had met some friends just to eat and go drink in Masquerade. Spent about $150 between the buffet and the bar with receipts to prove it and they wouldn't validate my parking because I hadnt gambled. Argued with supervisor that I spent more money on food and drink than if I had just sat at a penny slot machine for 30 minutes and pull the lever every couple minutes but they're too dense to understand. Used to go about once a month, but now its probably been 2-3 years since I've been

The white trash of casinos, the ole Pile of Debris.

Isle of Capri in Lake Chuck and Diamond Jacks in Bossier City hold their own in the shitty department.

"The Pile of Debris" closed a few years ago, the new casino is called magnolia bluffs which isn't in an old riverboat. It's not big but is at least newer and somewhat nicer than than the old Isle of Capri.

Because you are getting a service in return for your money. You get food. People that go in and gamble are pretty much free money for the casinos.

Service with a 300% markup, especially alcohol. They make plenty of money on food and drinks too.
So I could sit at penny slots, costing me probably $5-10 to play even if I don't win and get a free drink whenever the cocktail waitress comes around. Plus they could end up losing if I hit on the slots. They would rather validate my parking if I do that than if I spend 10x as much money at the bar or restaurant.
Its not like I'm trying to get free parking without spending money on something at Harrah's. They used to validate without a problem if I told them I hadnt been gambling but ate at the buffet and went for some drinks at the bar....then all of a sudden they became parking validation nazis with no sense of reasoning. Since I don't really gamble, I just go eat and drink at places that don't make it such a chore to park so I can spend money in their establishment
