Why not pull a Coach O on Coach O?

Now that recruiting is over, we 'reassign' Coach O to some obscure position in the athletic department and hire Chip Kelly. Imagine the LSU-Alabama game. Offensive genius vs Defensive genius.

Chip Kelly would be a terrible fit in the Deep South, especially at LSU.

I'll be the bold one.
Canada hasn't coached here yet. But he seems to be driven. He's got some good experience under his belt. Will be given a chance to work with the best athletes that he's ever had. I expect him to rock it this year.
If he proves to be what I hope, I wouldn't trade him for Kelly. And there is no DC in football anywhere that I would trade Aranda for.

Why not pull for Coach O now that he's the coach?
I wanted Jimbo since before Miles was even fired, but that didn't happen. Orgeron is our coach. If he ends up sucking, I'll bash him as much as I did Miles, but to already start discussing replacements before he's even had a full season makes you look like a troll or a dumbass. Take your pick. I'm kind.

Yeah that will get the whole State of Louisiana in a crazed tizzy, destroy 2018 recruiting, set us back 3 years or more, may even sink us.
We have a great staff until proven otherwise I really think LSU football will be enjoyable from here on. No more hollering at the TV, worrying about the refs close calls, last minute FGs either way. This teams going to be fun to watch, I know bc it was fun to watch with half of Les Miles staff reordered by coach O to give us the best chance to win. Now that he's replaced that with specific guys he wanted it will be that much better IMO. He will let Aranda unleash the dogs this year and Canada will be confusing everyone. No more LSU tendencies to study. This offense will be extremely difficult to defend, the triple option it's self it's hard imagine with this talent and a QB that can actually throw the ball. Idk about y'all but I'm pumped up about this new offense. We have smart QBs and Athletic QBs with smarts to train then pick from. We have a OC that is known for getting the most out of the least talent, he can also coach up QBs. I'm excited about next year but in 3 years this offense IMO will set trends of an entirely different style that others will be late to copy. By the time they catch on let's hope we have 3 or 4 championships and let's hope these guys want to stay for a while to prove a point. It's got to be worth it to stay a while just for the fun factor and to land the best possible job you can get. GT
