LOL, well I would hope that the father of one of the greatest athletes to ever wear the Purple and Gold, both on the gridiron and pitching mound, would be an LSU guy. Wish we had a Chad Jones in our program every year.

Al Jones Sr. is the coach at St. Aug right now. Rahim Alem (formerly knows as Al Jones Jr.) is the son.

Just count the number of black head coaches in NOMA minus St. Aug and LW and you will have ur answer. I have already said what the deal is go run back and tell sonny. You didn't have to pay for that tidbit either. Do I think there will be a boycott na do I think coaches are disgruntled with how Jab was handled. Yup. Ed in the last two days has called all these guys to repair the relationship.

I have not been a fan of coaches doing the post signing day staff changes for years now, even though it is done routinely all over the country. I am fine with people expressing a disagreement about that practice and people coming to an agreement that things will be done straight up in the future. Of course Ed gets to make the choices of WHO he hires and fires just like every other coach.

One thing you can say about Miles was that he was the master of soft landings for his staff.

So if JJ was white this would be a non-issue? It's either about him being fired after signing day or it's not.

Do you think these disgruntled coaches will get over it now that Ed O hired someone that knows where a lot of the bodies are buried.

How many N.O. kids did Frank Wilson recruit this year?

wtf are u talking about? Do you not understand that these coaches all grew up together, competed against one another, and coached against one another? They are all for the most part close friends. shite some went to college and HS together. You get the picture now? I was trying to make it easy for your to count the schools that are attending.

The whole boycott thing is a joke. If the kid wants to go to LSU he will.

5A. I am not trying to knock you or anything. But do these NOLA coaches understand that really Coach O did Jabbar a solid by not outright firing him, and just re-assigning him to another spot. By doing that Coach Juluke was able to keep his state benefits for his sick wife. To me that does not scream someone who was trying to F over someone. These coaches need to understand this is business and not personal.

I think they know that. Im more than sure they do. I think they are upset with how Jab stayed on staff to secure the signing of Racey and then was fired. I know for a fact that Racey was not coming to LSU if Jab wasn't there. Yes I know it's a part of the business but I think Les spoiled people with the way he handled coaches. He found them Jobs and it looked like they were moving on to better opportunities.

Sir, thank you for the insight. I think a lot of these guys want to argue the merits of the boycott. The reality is -and this is what I think you are trying to convey - is that whether they are right or wrong, LSU has rustled some jimmies with a number of NOLA head coaches. It is in the interest of LSU to attend to this to make sure it is smoothed over and that will take time to rebuild the trust.

Do I have that correct?
