When are you people going to wake up to the destruction being wrought by climate change and stop keeping your houses at 73 degrees?! Look at what you're doing to the environment!

Supersave, a convenience store in north London, is feeling the effects of Britain’s vegetable shortage — it is stocking lettuce from South America and selling it at a loss.
The market price of courgettes and lettuce has tripled in recent days, to £5.99 a kilo and £2.40 a kilo respectively.
During the winter, the UK relies on networks of growers across southern Europe for its out-of-season vegetables. But extreme weather in Spain and Italy has shrunk this year’s harvest and caused a surge in prices.
Tesco, the biggest UK chain, limited each customer to three iceberg lettuces, and Asda, the third-biggest by market share, is rationing aubergines, broccoli, courgettes and some cabbages.

I know we need to change our ways, famine did not exist until after 1980.

one growing season != climate change.
ETA: Also, I was just in Italy. Weather was fantastically mild.

It's a loss leader to get traffic in the store and sell other products at a net profit.
Limits reduce the loss and prevent competition from buying their product cheaper than going rate.
Stores often require a minimum purchase as well.
I did like all that fluffy white global warming all over that field!

So, Global Warming is making it snow.
Did I do this right?
Did I do this right?

Yes. No matter how the weather changes, it's an indication of global warming.

Wait -- what happened to Global Warming?
Oh yeah, that's right, let's never forget that "climate change"/"global warming" is a religion to these whackjobs. And, just like Jesus is the answer to Christians --
quote:
Cold Summer - Fault of Climate Change
Moderate Summer - Fault of Climate Change
Hot Summer - Fault of Global Warming
Cold Fall - Fault of Climate Change
Moderate Fall - Fault of Climate Change
Hot Fall - Fault of Global Warming
Cold Winter - Fault of Climate Change
Moderate Winter - Fault of Climate Change
Hot Winter - Fault of Global Warming
Cold Spring - Fault of Climate Change
Moderate Spring - Fault of Climate Change
Hot Spring - Fault of Global Warming
Too Many Hurricanes - Fault of Global Warming
Average Number of Hurricanes - Fault of Climate Change
Very Few Hurricanes - Fault of Climate Change
And, on and on and on and on ....

Yes, but since I watched Star Wars, I am far more concerned with the the Deathstar!
That sucker turns you into gravel.

Good one on the picture. As I was reading your post I was wondering just how in the hell could warmer weather be a detriment to growing vegetables, then the picture.

Bringing in more illegals should help. You know immigrants are a source of innovation. Those middle eastern folks know how to grow lettuce, goats, and camels.

And this is connected to unnatural causes, how exactly?
Global warming religionists are some of the most gullible imo.

That, and the possible effects of changing farming techniques to be more "Earth Friendly"?

I've got a great idea - to combat the food shortage, let's invite millions of refugees to come live with us!
Good thing it's only women, children and the elderly that are coming...they don't eat that much.

Uh.. is it ok if I keep it at 68 during the day and 64 at night? Unless my wife gets cold during the winter. Then she flips it up to say... 77.
