Famed Shill Robert Reich thinks Milo hired thug Berkeley protesters

Now a different theory is being hypothesized by Robert Reich, the chancellor’s professor of public policy at Berkeley and former labor secretary during the Clinton administration. Reich argues in Newsweek that the fact that Yiannopoulos was going to speak about federal funding to UC campuses and that the disruption quickly led to a question by President Trump over this funding show some sort of link:quote:Other commentators have raised similar speculations.
Yiannopoulos wasn’t asked about the content of the speech that was shut down. The conversation [on Fox News] focused instead on how Berkeley proved the point that the Left was ceding its right to federal grants by cracking down on free speech. …
Which raises the possibility that Yiannopoulos and Brietbart were in cahoots with the agitators, in order to lay the groundwork for a Trump crackdown on universities and their federal funding.
Thursday night on CNN, I said “I wouldn’t bet against” that possibility. …
I don’t want to add to the conspiratorial musings of so many about this very conspiratorial administration, but it strikes me there may be something worrying going on here.
I wouldn’t bet against it.
It's WaPo, and they make you register now, so don't bother, but it's an op ed, and the author does call the claim ridiculous.

He's got one thing right: the protestors were likely paid agitators. However, I highly doubt Milo was the one paying them.

Milo doesn't need to pay people to do exactly what he expected them to do. The left is as predictable as the sun rising.

Robert Reich needs to grow up.

I heard the interview. It is telling that a lefty like Reich is distancing himself from fellow lefties because their behavior is embarrassing.

Hasn't the left come out in support of the protestors? Wouldn't that contradict this article? I can't keep up.

Someone here definitely said that way before the article came out, in response to the book sale spike.

Is that why he did just that?

They get busted hiring protesters. Then they use that excuse on other people. Geez

It was only last week that I actually learned what Robert Reich looks like. At first when I did a Google image search I thought it was just a prevalent meme.

Yeah, that's why I posted the pic up there. Many people don't know he's 4'11"

That's like saying "no offense, but you're an a-hole."

I had no idea. Damn

I mean...it does make sense

Hobbiton called. They're missing an idiot.

I met him in the late 90's at a conference and had no idea after seeing him do interviews during the Clinton years.
