Booby traps are also against the law, dipshit. You can get prosecuted for attempted murder for shite like that. That's a little worse than trespassing I would say...

Church had no business doing it. It wasn't their land and the land owner didn't care to put up signage until the dipshit Church decided to start trying to kill people. They did it to cover their arse from whatever moron decided to do that.

From the digging we did, we were pretty certain it was a member of the church that strung the cable. They had been trying to run off the rednecks for awhile. I just happened to be the one that hit the wire. They had been complaining to the land owner for awhile and the land owner didn't care until someone was injured. They claimed they didn't have the camera footage to show who put it up.

Signage was never placed on the side of the property that bordered the neighborhood. People still use them to this day.

You realize that riding motorcycles on other peoples property is a definition of redneck also right? As in, if they were trying to catch a redneck they succeeded?

Had no idea who the individual was that strung the wire and couldn't prove the church itself said to string it across the path. Would of wasted a lot of money with no sure outcome. Other factors also dictated why I didn't pursue it.

Ok, I wasn't the intended target for it. The complaints were about certain people who were drinking and starting fires there at night. They probably caused damage to the church. Trails are still there and people still ride from the opposite side of the property.

But this family has to have millions upon millions in the bank, and they are hanging out riding 4 wheelers in fricking Fluker, La?

Apparently she was supervised too. Made a quick move and flipped it in the pond.

Heaven forbid they actually have some fun instead of having high tea and playing croquet.

There are lots of ways to have fun short of putting an 8 year old behind the wheel of a powerful machine.

I understand everyone who grew up doing that and everyone who is putting their children on these machines is going to chime in and say it's perfectly fine. That doesn't make it so.

Pursue what? You were trespassing on someone else's property. I hate frickers like you that think you can trespass and then possibly sue because you got hurt while doing it.

Sure about that Mr Trespasser? A dirt bike can cause a lot of property damage.

I talked to the land owner afterward, he didn't care until someone got injured. We still used the property afterward and people are still using it. He wasn't responsible for the wire.

Just because you are a land owner, you can't set traps to hurt/kill people who are there just trespassing you psychopath.

Yep, you are a complete fricking psychopath.

I was never on Church property. The land owner doesn't care about the land like that. It's just a large parcel he is holding onto for eventual commercial reasons. It will all get knocked down and leveled to build a shopping center, old folks home, or sold off for a subdivision later.

Did I say how I did it though? There are plenty of ways to get revenge. I never did anything like property damage.
