I'm really sick and tired of this never ending "argument". "Well the other party did it" is not a sound argument and it needs to die.

e is right, the suspension of this order has direct Security implications. The judge does not have any intelligence to base his decision on. We are allowing this guy to determine the safety of the country at this time.

zero casualties from any immigrant coming in from the countries 'banned'...not one, now ask yourself who is the one botching the decisions about safety for our country...

that would be the conman, the Lord of Marmalade, DJT

let us know when the real countries causing problems are even considered by Trump and his 'cough cough' staff.

Why focus on the reaction when the system is being corrupted for political gain? Did you know that this judge was a blm sympathizer and specializes in refugee immigration law in his pro bono work?

Liberals bitch constantly about the aroma of conflict of interest when it comes to Trump, yet this judge seems to pass the smell test. Weird.

Our country is coming to a place where checks and balances have a process to determine what is legal and illegal.
So, it was legal when Obama did it, but it's illegal when Trump does it?

I thought Obama banned Iraqis in 2011? Was that legal?

He didn't ban Iraqis. He ordered that 55,000 Iraqis who had been granted entry into the US be re-vetted after it was discovered that the vetting process allowed two known extremists into the country. If it had let those two in, it could have let more in, so they needed to be sure. That required resources to accomplish, so they didn't process new visa requests until the re-vetting was complete.

That isn't a ban on Iraqis.

So it's definitely cool to see your 70 year old President have the same educational experience on the job!

There damn sure are some people at DHS and DOS who know. And the fact that they weren't consulted is inexcusable.

While I agree with the vetting, he is taking this "pouring into the country" thing too far.

Just a heads up here, when you enter the country on an immigration visa you actually have to tick a box saying you will not commit acts of terror.

Different process same effect, although the amount of time was not down to the decision to re-vet, only the fact that there were that many cases to process.

You want to ask any Europeans that question? Also, does rape, assault, or theft by Muslims count as terrorism?

Why because I'm pointing out that all of a sudden people are vehemently against TRO's OR acting like they didn't occur under Obama?

No, because you obviously didn't read my post before accusing me of being outraged. I'm delighted at the left meltdown right now, don't get me wrong. I just want to keep a level head in all the fervor.

And the cesspool comment wasn't directed toward you. It has just gotten silly up in here and people seem to be defending and attacking without due consideration of actual positions (more so than usual).

Cheers.
