I am not sure what to think about this as the XFL was bad but entertaining at the same time.

It gave people chances to resurrect a career, see Tommy Maddox.

This league is the only reason we have sky cam and many other things that we take for granted in watching football today. Bad football but entertaining as hell.

Those different camera views bring back memories of watching the XFL.

I remember, sophomore year of high school, this was all we could talk about leading up to the first game, their marketing was too notch: football, explosions, & boobs, every teenage boy's dream. A bunch of us had a party to watch that opening night game. I think by halftime we were all bored and lost interest the game was so bad.

I missed the first half of it. When is the encore? I knew before it kicked off that it would never be anything more than minor league football to me, but I didn't think it would tank after one season either. I watched a few games, but only if there was nothing better on. I did like some of the creativity on the telecasts. Did anyone other than Maddux and Smart ever make it to the NFL after XFL collapsed? Costas really tore McMahon apart in that HBO interview. What happened to the blimp?

If it were started today, I'd give it more of a chance.
