The girl was in the blue lion there was no pink lion. And she didnt originally pilot it one of the team members named sven did. He wore a black uniform I think he was killed off or badly injured.

Lion Voltron is the reason I ran down the driveway off the bus every afternoon.
Although, I did miss The Phoenix and G-Force when Voltron replaced them...

There was never any correlation between the uniform color and the lion color. The pilots were given their uniforms by Coran who was in charge of the Voltron program. That happened before the pilots ever saw the lions. It was a coincidence that Pidge wore a green uniform and ended up in the green lion. None of the other pilot's uniforms matched their lion's color.

When I was a kid my parrain used to go to Japan for work several times a year. He didn't have any kids, and he always brought me back some kind of awesome Japanese robot. I had a bunch of the Diaclone and Microman robots which later bevame the Transformers. I also had GoLion which would later be the lion Voltron in the US, and Dairuger which became the vehicle Voltron.

I actually liked vehicle Voltron. It had a military-scifi feels to it, while the Lions had more of a fantasy feel.
I had a few of the toys, too. There were so many characters, though, none if them really stood out.

Do yall remember that episode of Voltron where the Robeast was kicking the shite out of him, and all hope seemed lost? Then at the very end, Voltron pulled out his sword and cut that fricker in half? That was a good episode.

Does anyone remember all the speculation during the ad campaign for "Cloverfield". Some trolls were trying to convince people that it was a Voltron movie?
During the attack at the beginning of the movie, someone say's that they saw something, and "It's Alive..."
Some people heard "Its a Lion.." and figured that meant Voltron.
Good Times.....

Am I the only one that doesn't remember vehicle voltron? I'm 35 so was it before my time? Lion voltron and he-man were my 2 favorite cartoons growing up
Fwiw I was never into transformers so maybe the whole vehicular thing was just never appealing to me as a kid.

I'm 36 and I remember it. It just wasn't nearly as popular.

Coran assigned Hunk the orange uniform. The lion was yellow.
