Maybe off topic but I always get the GE logo and HP logos confused

I find that reading the letters helps me keep them straight.

All things considered, I don't think this is too bad of a look. Logos were inevitable and I can think of a ton more that would much, much worse. GE is gonna pay $7MM a year for this

Also, GE just moved their headquarters to MA so this makes sense.

I just don't understand why. The ads are literally posted everywhere...can we at least spare the uniforms? It's not like I'm going to be made more aware of GE's existence.

No "outraged", but I'm a purist and like the uniforms without corporate logs on them (yes, including the Nike "swoosh"). The Celtics had one of, if not the most classic uniforms in all of the NBA. Hell, their uniforms look almost identical to those in the 1950's. I wouldn't have thought Boston would be one of the first to stick a corporate logo on the jersey (though it does blend well)

They are getting paid $7million a year to slap a tiny patch on the jersey

Memphis should rebrand as the Express as dress as a fedex guy.

Strange to see it happen first to a major market team with a lot of history.

It's not fake outrage. Putting an advertisement on a uniform reminds me of playground baseball as a kid where you had some local business sponsoring your team and had ther name slapped on the uniform.

It's just bush league and who would prefer an advertisement to no advertisement?

These are teams worth over a billion dollars and people just think this takes it too far for a buck.

Not a fan of corporate logos on uniforms, but I understand the business logic.

I'm no purist and that is a pretty classy advertisement, so whatever.

The real outrage will begin when lesser teams start looking for sponsorship, and the Magic want you to buy a jersey with RADBETS4U.COM ads on it

It's not really "outrage". Why do people have to use extreme words? People do not like putting corporate logos on uniforms. That doesn't mean people are tearing their hair out over it and lighting cars on fire.

But their dislike of this practice is not fake. They aren't just pretending not to like it. They actually don't like it.

False. They are posted at the stadium and on TV commercials, but they aren't posted when Carl visits Myrtle Beach in his Celtics jersey.

Now they will.

Incorrect. They want a Nike, adidas, or UA logo on their uniform.

People just want to act like it is blasphemy to do so.
