Try loading 8 stacks of plywood into a Civic

Uhaul rents pickup trucks for $20/day. One month of fuel cost savings easily pays for that.

Unless you tow a boat or trailer regularly it doesn't make a lot of sense from a cost standpoint to own a truck.

It is an amazing car for the price, it's faster than Mustang, Challenger, 370z etc, it looks great in my opinion, and I am scared of the upcoming fuel economy regulations because these cars might not be here in ~10 years

Did you not read any of this thread? Those are the only reasons I got one.

Heres the thing, people like different things. Some people like sports cars, some like trucks. Your life will be so much more enjoyable the day you realize that not everyone thinks the same as you.

Also, did you really just say that Noone uses a truck for its intended purpose? That's quite a broad stroke.

From a cost standpoint, most Americans eat too much and live in too big of houses. So?

I have been in a lifted 2012 chevy Silverado, Colorado, and Dodge Ram multiple times and other trucks once. Btw I endorse the smaller trucks

Chris would you trade your van for a truck if you could?

You should get an SS and try to pick up chicks. They probably would think you could walk if you just rolled up with the window down and revved the engin with your hand controls.

You're a troll or a girly man
My current truck. Let's see your civic pull a 4k pound boat

800lbs of concrete in the bed pulling a trailer with 4 wheeler and 2.75" pipe gate and 10 poles

My old truck...or get through these places

I don't think anyone cares about your beta endorsements.

Go shave your vagina and watch fast and furious.

Ok I realize that. That is really what I'm asking. Saying you like trucks because you like trucks doesn't push the conversation forward

OK, I like them for their utility primarily, and their looks as well.

To help you understand a little bit better, I do wood working so I'm often hauling lumber. It feels like I'm always doing landscaping around my house so I often haul things of that nature. I hunt so I'm often hauling a trailer, dead animals, going off road, etc. Then throw in all of the miscellaneous things I haul at random times, I have plenty of justification. And as to why I don't own a smaller truck, it's because my deer leases is five hours away and hauling a loaded down trailer that far with anything less than a V8 is no fun.

tbh calling someone that doesn't care or need to drive a truck a 'girly man' or the guy earlier saying that anyone in a car doesn't have a penis, is just as ignorant as this praying mantis character.

My last ride was a Taco but I didn't even have any real use for that and it's a small truck. I doubt I ever drive a truck again unless things change drastically in my older age.

I was told, by two female friends, that driving a truck would get me more pussy than I could possibly imagine.

Not true.

Again some of those points could be true but a car in that same price range will beat a truck in all those categories. A civic cost >20k and that doesn't factor in insurance, gas, and upkeep.

Nah. Anyone who "can't figure out" why someone might prefer to drive a truck is a definitely a pussy.
