He still can't make the type of throws that Rodgers can.

He's been better than Rodgers all season. He just plays for the Falcons, who have been largely ignored by the national media for most of the year.

You'd still trade Ryan for Rodgers and not think twice about it.

It's almost as if the people on this board have an unreasonable hate for the most valuable player in the league...

Getting to play the Saint's defense twice is an unfair advantage.

This article's title is about Jared Cook, but the article goes into a lot of detail on Rodgers. Matty Ice couldn't dream of doing any of this:

Nothing to do with Julio, Freeman, and starting the same offensive line in every single game this year (which is just mind blowingly lucky).

So sure, he's been statistically equal or even surpassing Rodgers. Anyone who's watched Rodgers play during this stretch wouldn't agree that Ryan has played better though.

Think how fricking good Rodgers would be in Atlanta's offense. My god.

Of course he has, but don't tell anyone else otherwise.

He also had a better game against much better secondary and defense in the divisional round but all you hear about is Rodgers heroics.

What a terrible article. Aaron Rodgers run actually began the week before (3 TD, 0 int; 115 rating). Obviously Atlanta had a bye week then, but the previous game just (must be coincidence) happened to be by far (78.7 rating, ~ 10 lower than next worst).

Now I get why he started on week 12, due to the bye, but since it was presented as beginning in week 12, it's a dishonest premise in the first place.

Furthermore, if he's going to cite stats, maybe he should highlight that Ryan played inferior competition, worse defenses, and 5 of the 7 games at home (a dome too; GB played half of 8 games away).

More specifically, Ryan played teams with a combined regular season record of 48-62-2 (43.8% wins) while compared to the 70-57 (55.1% wins) record of Rodger's opponents.

In addition, the team's Ryan played had a median passer rating of 92 (average of 90.3) while Rodger's played teams with a median passer rating of 85.4 (average of 88.5).

In other words, Ryan played inferior teams with inferior passing defenses and the majority of the games played at home in perfect conditions. While Ryan played far better teams with superior passing defenses and more away games. Even then, 5 of the 8 games (Chi & 4 in GB) were played on days with an average HIGH temperature of 26 (only one above 28).

Lot of salty arse coonasses here on the hater train. I see Louisiana's dick sucking of other teams isn't just regulated to the college game. Will you all celebrate if Green Bay beats Atlanta like yall did when Clemson won a few weeks back?

GB defense is the weakness that Matt Ryan can exploit.

If Atlanta doesn't turn the ball over, it's their game.
