Can I get mad next time a black person refers to me as white, instead of obviously addressing me as "English-Irish-American"?

You're completely correct about where we SHOULD be. The fact is, that's not the world we live in. Educating her (the niece) on how fricked society has become will protect her from this bullshite in the future.

what if the black kid says, "I spy something white" and the roles were reversed. I wonder if there would be a hiccup. Either way, since when is it wrong to say the race of a person with no other connotations added to it? For fricks sake it's kids. Some teachers, I swear.

Oh I know, but it's just really, really sad. Why are we teaching our kids to act like this? Do we not celebrate heritage anymore? If someone calls me white, I say you are correct. That's like a scone being offended being called a scone. Who the frick cares?

You want to know what real Africans think about American blacks talk to black guys in the Navy that have had port calls in Africa. Most Africans can't stand American blacks due to the fact that even as bad as the black community thinks they have it in America it is 1000 times better than in Africa. They think of American blacks as being lazy and wasting what opportunities they have for the most part.

If your brother had her go through all this, he needs to take his balls out of his purse more often. He should have gone down to the school and raised holy hell with not only the teacher and administration but his school board member.

Just got off the phone with my Brother. He has a daughter in the 4th grade. Yesterday at lunch, while seated at a table with several classmates, the kids were playing 'I Spy'. One little girl, who is AA, was 'it'. She said, "I spy something black". My niece, said "Is it you?".
The AA student told the teacher who sent an email home last night. Niece had to apologize, write a note of apology and I guess get a note from home saying the email was received and the parents talked to her.
And this is where we find ourselves.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why folks are moving to Utah in masses.
