I know it's early but has anyone made reservations yet? If so, where and for how long?

I have reservations at the Downtown Omaha Inn from the Saturday to Wednesday. Then I have another reservation at the Downtown Omaha Inn from the Wednesday to Friday. I made two reservations bc I didn't want to be on the hook for extra nights if LSU loses the first 2 games.

I went to Omaha two years ago when LSU made it, but stayed in Lincoln. I saved about $40 a night on the hotel compared to the reservations I have in case LSU makes it this year, but it was a 50 minute drive there and back from Lincoln. Here's hoping that LSU makes it back to Omaha in 2017!!

Excuse my ignorance, but for 2 weeks of omaha, do you buy a pass to enter the stadium for each game whenever you want or do they sell individual game tickets that you purchase. I assume it's a pass, but just checking. Omaha has been on the bucket list for me.

You can buy a packet of general admission tickets that lets you sit in the bleachers. I want to say it was $85 for any 10 games.

Or you could download this app and buy tickets from people who post them on the app. It's like stubhub but all you do is buy the ticket electronically and give your credit card to the ticket person at the entrance and he swipes it and prints out a ticket for you. It was so easy. I went to every game from Saturday to Thursday, so that was like 10 games and I always had good to great seats.

i hate to be negative nancy, but we have several things to address before we start thinking about omaha.
we lost another pitcher today, and the back end of the rotation is a question mark. also some concerns with our lineup. we need some folks to step up

Not yet, but the plan is to go from June 16-19 so I get the full saturday and sunday first weekend experience again. I like the Hilton Garden Inn downtown. Only a couple blocks from the field and a good area. I haven't booked just yet but I can usually get whatever I want with hotel points and flyer miles.

You can literally buy tickets to every game outside the stadium for like $10 bucks. There is nothing to sweat about getting in prior.
I suggest going if you've never been.

Cartwright had to have a second surgery. He's going to miss the whole season.

Just FYI - nobody books now cause they think LSU is going

It's not a prediction for the season, it's being prepared in case it does happen... not sure why everyone has t be such a hardass about it
