Words/phrases you've caught yourself using incorrectly for long periods of time?

I could've sworn it was "inadament object", but apparently it's inanimate object, and I'm a huge dumbass. I guess I was saying it correct all this time, but my spelling was wayyy off. Inadament doesn't even appear to be a word, lol.
Knew a lady who thought she was the smartest MFer walking planet earth. She was a "business woman", and "successful", and blah blah blah....very full of herself. She would constantly use the phrase "realliterate" when trying to say "reiterate". She would get on her high horse and tell someone, "let me realliterate for you" in a demeaning voice. I would just smile when I heard this, in hopes she was using this term around other people constantly as well.
Any other examples of words/phrases you or someone else has used incorrectly?

"Enervating"
I always thought it meant "energizing". It actually means to drain of energy.

I don't use this word myself, but I cringe when I hear the word "irregardless"

When I was a wee laddie in the single digits I saw the word "epitome" in Highlights magazine or Weekly Reader or someplace. Even though I'd heard the word on TV, I didn't mentally spell it that way. So I had this new word "eppy-tome" for awhile afterward.

ad infinitum
I spoke/wrote it "ad infinitim" for some dumbass reason.

How often could you possibly be using that?

I thought splooge meant "shite" until one of my sons corrected me.
"I'm going to take a splooge" has a whole different meaning with the correct definition.
ETA: The OT has kept me from misusing slang terms.

I had a boss that would say "incantation" instead of "incarnation". As in: The current incantation of this software...
I always pictured a bunch of developers sitting around a cauldron of boiling liquid and chanting.
Also when I was at LSU, my girlfriend's roommate substituted the word "twat" for "twit". It was funny for a while but we finally had to tell her that what she was calling people wasn't what she thought she was calling them.

Peruse - means to look at something carefully with great attention to detail.
Spendthrift - an extravagant spender.
Begging the question - doesn't mean that someone's response begs for a follow-up question.

Sparse. I'd always pronounced it "air" instead of "are" until my 5th grader corrected me!
