i am one of those who hates the design of serpas. always thought the location of the release button for the gun was dangerous.

i have one of these owb/iwb sas holsters. Quality is top notch. plus its reversible.

The serpas are pos's, that get jammed up when dirt gets in the release mechanism. And the release mechanism is in a terrible spot. The only redeeming quality is it's cheap. A lot of training academies have banned the serpa.

Look at Safariland holsters. They are my favorite.

I almost always end up with multiple holsters (usually getting on some 6 month wait list is part of it), but I also almost always end up buying a Garrett Industries Silent Thunder for every new pistol I come to own.

I have more of Tony's holsters than I'd like to admit, great product and great service.

Safariland makes great holsters, it's really the only one I have experience with but I use one every day without problems.

G-code or stealth gear but you are going to have to wait for one.

You can add Jeff Gonzales, Gabe Suarez, Tom Givens (I haven't heard Tom outright ban them in his classes, but he certainly recommends against using them), Dallas PD; etc., etc. to the previously posted list.

Google "Tex Grebner" video ("I just f-ing shot myself") for a chuckle. I'd post a link but it has some NSFW language that might violate the board's CoC.

There are just too many higher quality holsters (even Uncle Mike and Blade Tech) available -- why would anyone these days use a Serpa (despite claims that none of the gun schools ban them. I presume that most, if not all, of the folks who claim this have never been to a gun school.)

Go order a Comp-Tac and try it. if you don't like it, you have 30 days to return it for a full refund. As Donald trump famously said, "What have you got to lose ?"

If you're not trying to conceal it then go with Safariland. They are the safest and most durable holsters on the market
