He's a bad coach, but he's has gotten good players, which is a big part of coaching. Even thought Trent won the SEC, his three years after that were awful.

Jones isn't the worst in history. His ceiling isn't as high as Trent or Brady, but (pending this season) he hasn't bottomed out like them either

Recent numbers suggest Trent Johnson but I'm ok with saying this about JJ

He's the worst in game coach in my lifetime. But he's a somewhat decent recruiter so his best teams are decent.

He's pretty bad, but he's not Frank Truitt bad.

I don't know any coaches prior to Brown

I think Dale and he aren't that far apart.

He isn't nearly as good as Brady for sure. Johnson was truly bad

Damn, thinking about it, we just do t give two shits about basketball

Purely on actually coaching he's the worst I've seen. But overall he's far from the worst. He's had average but not great teams every year he's been here. He just hasn't had a garbage team until this year

JJ's percentage would look more like reality if it included only SEC games. There may be a lot of annual percentage padding with non conference games.

Probably not, I mean wasn't the basketball team coached by a football coach in days of yore.

Also, I mean we did beat Mizzou. So there's one team the LSU's better than.

Trent Johnson was worse than Johnny Jones.

Jones has the benefit of coaching in the worst era ever for sec basketball.
The sec is pathetic in basketball.

JJ may now be the worst JJ in LSU history, eclipsing the other JJ in terms of incompetence.
