With CGI, Photoshop, animation, etc., why are Supermodels still needed?

When virtually any model that looks perfect can be created from scratch, why would Victoria Secret and others pay millions to models?
I can see hiring some from time-to-time for fashion shows, but a very small fraction of people ever see those. It should be a niche market with low pay.
With the advent of better graphics, I could see fashion models among the industries that become obsolete.

CGI cartoons can't walk a runway

I don't know much about the fashion industry, but I do believe they place a lot of importance on the runway shows. So you're going to need some models that can pull off looking like they want them to look live.
As for the non live stuff, I don't think the tech is there yet. It's coming, but one of the biggest complaints about Star Wars Rogue One is the CGI used to create virtual actors instead of recasting roles with new actors that looked similar to their 1977 counterparts.

Take you opening statement and replace Supermodels with Porn Stars. Doesn't sound so appealing now eh?

If it wasn't for air brushing, heavy make up, and photo shop, crissy teigan would never sniff a magazine cover.

CGI animation isn't cheap either.
