Chris Allen was never coming to LSU. And this is all horse crap. He's lived in Baton Rouge a long time. His dad works at Southern and has raised his entire family here. Also, Allen is a very smart kid raised by smart parents. Something like this would probably have caused him to really second guess Bama.
Pollyanna.
Saban will argue whatever it takes to get the kid. His big thing at LSU was staying home for the home team and making a business decision for life. I.e. After football. Now, business decisions are leaving Louisiana to come and frontrun at Bama.

If this scares a kid into changing this big of a decision then they are prob a poon and don't need to be in purple and gold anyhow. And isn't the klan still a thing around Tuscaloosa ? How far away from Tuscaloosa is Birmingham? #thefirst48. Lol.

Ha! LSU has more stud linebackers in the nfl than Bama, where do freak Bama trolls come from?
I'm not a Bama troll.

Cause lsu players have bad history in BR over the years...if kids are buying that then they have no interest in being in purple and gold..bye

How in the hell could he do better in business after football going to Bama than coming back to set up shop in Louisiana?

That's a good idea. We should start using it too. Just tell their recruits and parents "hey, have you ever seen Deliverance?".

What are the crime stats for Tuscaloosa and especially near campus?
Seems more BAMA players have been arrested in the last couple years than LSU players.Tony Brown, Hootie, Cam Robinson, the running back who transferred and died in a car accident last year come immediately to mind. I know there were others.

So if he wants to be a businessman in LA he would be 10 times better off at LSU

T town is turning ghetto as shite!!
Posted on 1/2/17 at 12:15 pm to Old Money
All we have to do is tell them the new Mayor is going to take care of the crime problem, starting with firing the BRPD Police Chief that was so mean to those out of town protesters that came here with the intent of improving race relations.

Go read the story on Guice and it doesn't take much to see that "I gotta do whatever to get out of these dangerous streets" mindset could start with their college career and not the NFL.

Lol...I love this one always:. "he is going to bama because he wants to get to the NFL". Rotflmao. Nevermind has more NFL players and better results from those players, and they will probably have another 9-11 drafted this year, depending on early entries. This is always comical to me. Yet, you call him and his family smart, and they were taken in by this blatant lie.

My son went to college in tuscalooser and the crime is out the roof. Robbing rapes and murders including my wifes brother whp was gunned down on a Tuscaloosa intersection after a road rage incident. Hueytown and bessemer are terrible also.

Look what a quick google search says
"For Tuscaloosa, we found that the violent crime rate is one of the highest in the nation, across communities of all sizes (both large and small). Violent offenses tracked included rape, murder and non-negligent manslaughter, armed robbery, and aggravated assault, including assault with a deadly weapon."

Do y'all really not think it is a better career decision to play for Nick Saban than Orgeron? Really? Sure he has just as good a chance of making the NFL at both schools. But playing for Nick Saban is a significantly better option than hoping Orgeron and his staff are still at LSU in 3 or 4 years.

He goes to Southern Lab. You think he doesn't know about crime in this city?
