Yes, he has the potential to start next season.

In fact, I expect him to.

He has the highest ceiling of any WR on our team. He has an NFL superstar ceiling. Freak athlete with incredible size/strength/speed combo.

Needs it all to click though.

He's a combine warrior for sure, but I have heard there are red flags about him as a football player. Word out of practice is he REALLY doesn't like to get physical and his hands were not the best in HS.

If and when he decides he wants it - he can be a great Dwayne Bowe type of receiver for us though.

Am I wrong in seeing Mike Williams (USC) in this kid?

Interesting to read this. I couldn't stand how "soft" Dupre played at times this year.

Can you coach toughness or are we dealing with Diva WR who just don't want to take a hit or get hit? Seems odd for football players, I just don't remember ever being around a team culture that wouldn't weed out physically or mentally "soft" players.

He has the potential to make Megatron look like those stupid little ice cream trucks.

He is raw. But his size, speed, and vertical are compared to Julio Jones. He's is a freak and I hope he balls out in 2017.

Drake Davis is a lot faster and quicker than Williams ever was.

I'd love for him to be a college Mike Williams.

He's a ton faster and overall a better athlete than Mike Williams. Would LOVE for him to develop some MW hands though

Like others have said, physically, he's a Julio Jones comparison. But it hasn't clicked on the field yet. Potential is absurd though.

The extent of the potential to start next season might depend heavily on who comes back!
