I don't really blame Riley for saying this. Shaq played a major role in the Heat winning their first championship. As Michael Irvin once said "None of the championships ever come close to being as great as the first." Winning championships in 2012 and 2013 were great but I doubt Heat fans and team executives were as ecstatic and over the moon as they were in 2006 when they won it all for the first time. So Riley probably is being genuine when he says Shaq was the greatest acquisition in Heat history.
