seriously, dude is a career 8/3.5/1.5 player. Even looking at this season he's 13/5/2.

Oh god, I didn't even think about that.
Nuggets are over there trying to do things wisely, we are over here likely trying to replicate Jerryd Bayless 2.0.
I hate Demps.
..I hate Loomis.
....And I hate Alzheimer's for many reasons, but at this moment for what it has done to Benson to let this continue on.
I am so tired of the Demps cycle. Overpay players you expect to be focal points who turn out not to be good fits. Toss away assets like draft picks like they are worthless to desperately try to undue the damage you did. Then fake the bosses just long enough to think things are turning around until you realize its a house of cards and you are worse off then you were before long-term. Then convince everyone to try it all over again one more time.

Not only MOAR GUARDS, but Denver has been sitting on its many collected assets for a while in part because it overvalues them enough that they haven't traded anyone. They aren't going to just give Barton away. I doubt you could even get him for something like Cunningham + Philly pick.
Hearing this is disturbing because it says Demps is trying to make save the season trades. I don't care if you make the 8th seed as a 37 win team (Portland is currently #8 and on pace for 35 wins), there is no saving this season.
