yeah that's a reasonable assumption...at the same time, it's a reasonable assumption that they felt confident that Obama wouldn't do a god damn thing and that the trump would feel pressure from the media while he's not in office and incapable of responding. I in fact believe all of that.

we're seen as marks abroad (and under Obama we are marks), it's just been recently confirmed that our press is actually state propaganda, and we now have an undermining of the president elect by the sitting president, his cronies running government agencies, the media, and other elected officials...these aren't political talking points. while ideological agenda is the motivating factor here, what i'm describing is just an abstract assessment of things as they exist in reality, and that reality fricking blows.
