For the 11 millionth time. Russell Shepard could not throw a collegiate sized football with any accuracy. Like, almost not at all

This. Dumbasses always think the guy who don't play qb was screwed or the best that never was. Dude has a shite arm. Period. Anyone who studys qbs knows it.

stop, Shepard was not as good as the majority of the guys that got pt above him. It's pretty freaking obvious. He was passed up by OBJ. He was never going to play qb. We had several dudes on the team that were better qbs, Ruben Randle, Spencer ware, Terrance Magee.

What's to understand? He couldn't throw with any accuracy. They tried the entire summer before he got here and it just wasn't working.

Why would we want him throwing the football?

His job was to run and catch. And maybe hold for PATs.

do you mean the current Russell Shepard with his current development or the under developed and physically immature Russell Sheppard that was here 5 years ago?

The current Russell Shepard would be dynamic

The 2010 version would ride the pine.

Donte is struggling at DB. Perhaps switch him to the slot and run those jet sweeps with him and Chark??

Just crazy Shep is better at WR now than when he converted and only had 20hrs/wk to learn the position. Just crazy.
This is like saying your 1st grade teacher wasted so much, you being so smart in 8th grade and all.

Exactly. Its like they have forgotten thatvwe tried getting him the ball everyway possible. Handing him the ball, throwing him the ball, screens,go routes.i know it hurst some people but Shep didnt warrant taking away snaps from other players that had solidified themselves.

No one was suggesting he should have been a QB.

Tebow at LSU 2009, 13-3. Shep-ZERO touches.

And Riley Cooper pushed off. Frick that game.
