It's already been three years since Amazon first revealed its somewhat audacious plan to make deliveries by drone. But the company is quite serious about this, and today it is announcing that it complete the first Amazon Prime Air drone-powered delivery. The company recently launched a trial in Cambridge, England -- and on December 7th, Amazon completed its first drone-powered delivery. It took 13 minutes from order to delivery, with the drone departing a custom-built fulfillment center nearby.

Good thing my house has a no-fly zone over it.

Same here. Good luck delivering in the South with all of the trees

If I order a drone on Amazon, will a drone deliver it to me?

If I'm not mistaken, even the best drones have a max 45 minute fly time with their batteries.
Do you have to live within 10 miles of a fulfillment center to get a drone delivery?

They tried to deliver my can of chemtrails, but it busted open on the way over. :/

DHL has been doing this for years in the North Sea and in Alaska.

I'm picking up an anti drone delivery vibe in this thread. Are y'all actually opposed to this idea?

My buddy brought his new Phantom over to my house to show me. It wouldn't even let him fly it, apparently you just cannot fly a phantom in no fly zone.
It was odd. I knew I was in a no fly zone, but figured it was fine if you kept below 200 feet.

Just imagine all the new chemtrail opportunities with all of these drones.

They will be used for assassinations in the future, masked as deliveries

I don't want Amazon in Louisiana.

Not even hard to imagine.
All kinds of possibilities come to mind like the automated killers in the Terminator movies, or the Centennial ships in the Matrix.

You can turn the gps off. I'm betting your friend just didn't know how to fly the thing.
How is your house in a "no fly zone?" Permanent restricted airspace rarely starts below 250 AGL.
