Holy crap....I could dress the Service Orangatang's Service Monkey up like the Lone Ranger and have him ride a comfort pony.....We could then name the monkey King-O-Sobe and the pony silver. ....BOOM

Same Beta snowflakes need adderall or now Modafinal to get through the day. Their drug addled participation trophy minds can't handle the real world without one crutch after another...

What exactly are these dogs trained to do? I know an older guy who has one. Saw him recently at an event (a casual indoor presentation/party) and he was just sitting and watching the presentation with the dog laying at his feet. A little girl kept coming up and trying to pet the dog, the dog was wagging its tail and doing happy dog things, and the guy kept telling the little girl she couldn't pet the dog because "he is working." The little girl was clueless. It seemed like such a dick move to the little girl and the dog. I really wanted to just blurt out, "No, he's not - he's just laying there."

Holy shite! That's EXACTLY what this girl tells people! When I first saw this I tried to pet the dog and she stopped me because the dog was "working".

The fricking dog was just laying at her feet. It looked miserable wearing it's service dog red vest.

And her fat face just kept smiling...

My 84 year old father suffers from Alzheimer's. He's had prostate cancer and beat it. He's had open chest surgery/quintuple bypass, and wears a pacemaker. He can barely get around. He has a small dog that is his "service dog". That dog gives him comfort, and he gives it attention, love and something to do. If that dog isn't nearby, he gets very anxious and worried. It's fricking bad enough that half the time he doesn't know that my mom is his wife, that I'm his son, or where he is, but now there's assholes who make fun of people with these dogs for no reason other than they haven't experienced this in their family themselves.

For all of you who poke fun at these people that are suffering, frick all of you! If you're lucky, nobody in your family or close friends will ever have to deal with cancer or Alzheimers. The whole lot of you are insufferable pricks.

Big difference, bruh.

Your grandfather sounds like he actually needs it. He's been through a LOT.

The girl I'm talking about is 22 years old and has been to multiple doctors all of who say there's nothing wrong with her. She is just scared to grow up.

There's a HUGE difference between someone who is 1) elderly, 2) has had cancer, and 3) has Alzheimer's and someone who according to doctors is healthy (except for her fatness).

Ok....your dad has a legitimate need for one. Just like vets that suffer real PTSD.

We are making fun of the snowflakes that need service dogs for no real reason other than being too sensitive.

Take a deep breath and relax.

Let the Service Orangutan take away your anger.

A lot of these people take a dog everywhere they go for the simplest reason......they crave attention. They want very badly to be noticed and feel as though an ornament will draw people to them. They want desperately to have their exsistence validated. They are dying inside for some one to approach them and start inquiring about their dog.

This is not as often service dog people. It is the 20s-30s somethings people who take their dog to the city cafe and strap its leash to a table while they drink a latte. They have no real purpose in life because they have nobody really counting on them to man up. They use a dog to try and demonstrate to potential mates that they are responsible and caring. It is really a mating call of a pussified sort. Notice how many homos you see do this in urban settings. But it's not limited to homos. You see a lot of pussified heterosexuals do this too. Young women do it also to attract mates, whether of the lesbian or male variety.

So the moral of this lesson is that if you have a GF or BF who hangs out at coffee shops or cafes with a dog strapped to the table while she/he sips a latte......she/he is actively looking for another mate whether she/he would ever admit it or not.

I will say, there is a difference between a "snowflake baby" and people actually battle with severe anxiety issues. For many people, anxiety can be absolutely debilitating.

I can't speak to her specific case, since I don't know her, but there are people who literally have to fight just to function through the day.

But your initial post was a terrible generalization. Your example just needs better parenting, dr. Nowzardan, a psychologist and a trainer not a dog

And yes real service dogs do "work" like some idiots are saying on here they are really working. Just like the dogs that detect bombs and drugs are working.

And no I don't need a dog for my anxiety and such its not that severe.

I kinda hate flying. Getting high before flying tends to give me anxiety. I think next time I fly, I'll bring my emotional support pitbull on the plane.

It's very easy to get a dog approved for anxiety to go on planes and such. I don't even think you need a doctor's note anymore. Just a couple hundred bucks and a the right form.

Well, I've got this dog that suffers severe separation anxiety. The last time I went out of town my stepmom had to take him to the vet for IV fluids - he won't even drink water. I told my husband we need to get him approved as a therapy dog so we can take him with us when we travel - I looked into it and that certification is not difficult to secure; surprisingly.

And for the record, I love that damn dog and wouldn't think of leaving him to suffer while I jet off for some fun filled vacay. I'll just keep my happy arse at home or go somewhere I can take him.

How do you know what is going on with these so-called snowflakes? How do You all know that a young 20 something-year-old female has not been abused, traumatized, or assaulted in one way or another and suffers from PTSD or some other debilitating anxiety? Are you all armchair psychologists or something?

No mental health proffesional would ever say this, you lying, ignorant retard.

Extreme anxiety and/or depression are not within ones control.

Mental health problems have nothing to do with how grown up you are. Maturity and decesion making skills are a better indicator
