I believe hiring Steve Starkesian would be a home run for Coach O. His pro-spread offense was amazing during his USC days and it is exactly what LSU needs to run. A pro style offense that incorporates spread formations and up tempo. Short to medium passes, powerful backs with playaction to follow. Just look at the numbers when he took over at USC. In 2014, the QB had 35+ TD's with only 5 INT's. The starting back had 1400 yds. Plus, I believe the guy would be at LSU longer than any other candidate we may have due to his past and the trust and rebuilding of reputation that must take place.

because O is blinded by his friendship with kiffin. its a really great sign about his judgement, im sure more terrific decisions are on their way.

If Saban hired him how could he possibly be on our staff?

You are not very familiar with his background if you think that:

Washington: $500 bar tabs turned in to the Univ on expense acct

USC (9/15): Fired because he couldn't make practices, and was "too unhealthy" to continue

Bama (8/16): Hired by Bama. (12/16) Rumors that Saban has moved on. 2 reports say its due to mot being able to attend mtgs on time
