"Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Matt Canada has emerged as a “serious candidate” for LSU’s offensive coordinator role should Lane Kiffin not opt to join Ed Orgeron’s staff, according to Ross Dellenger of the Baton Rouge Advocate. But the difference is that LSU paying their head coach less leads to them being able to hire the top coordinators in the country. Where as in Houston your coordinators are going to be extremely unproven coaches who Applewhite will have to take a chance on.
