Angelle's refusal to back Vitter in the runoff and his goofy rhymes in his speeches is what lost him the election. We are sick and tired of the same good ole boy network. If Higgins turns out to be a disaster, we will vote him out. But I'm willing to give Uncle Clay a shot before that career political hack.

Considering the alternative is a member of the failed Jindal regime and them trying to worm their way back into Louisiana politics again, I don't think your fellow voters give two shits about being a laughing stock if it means keeping Angelle from the seat and making sure Jindal stays a permanent has been.
Angelle and Jindal got their justly due humiliations tonight and it is well deserved. Hopefully they get the hint to frick off now and go get a real job like everybody else.

Angelle did this because he wanted Vitter to lose so he could run for Governor in 2019 and use the congressional seat as a springboard.
That shite is over now.
He could've endorsed Vitter and been in much better shape for Boustany's old house seat after Vitter appointed him to his old senate seat. Instead he chose to remain buddy buddy with Jindal and he got burnt.

Why? Honest question... I am not familiar with this race, but I certainly liked Higgins' point of view a year ago when he was "on the radar in Houston" (i.e. a weekly spot on the Michael Berry Show).

I'm not even sure what this goes to show about La right now.... I mean Higgins is no doubt a laughing stock but I guess he is better than putting the same career regime/families in over and over and letting them frick us. Like the landrieus At least this way it seems it will be easier to vote them out if they aren't up to par, Higgins types that is.
