You are correct. I went back and checked but completely looked over that. I will edit.

it's ok, the Gregg Marshall visiting Aloysius line had me rolling and makes up for any clerical errors

God damn St. George is so fricking stacked. I, for one, like to witness greatness as it happens and hope the dragons roll to an undefeated title season. frick the god damn blue jays and that bullshite full court press. Would love nothing more than for st. George to wipe the floor with them in the finals.

1996 STM > 1997 St. George.
I played against both. 1996 STM were winning 7th grade tournaments when they were in 6th grade and finsihed third in an 8th grade tournament when they were in 6th grade.
I have 1996 STM as the #2 team of all time in CSAL. Both teams were incredible.

are you still required to alert the neighbors when you move to a new subdivision?

97 SGS best of all time.
STM Zumo led franchise is a close 2nd

Didn't they barely win the Big Ten?

Man lol I still have nightmares about jr high ball. When you say 8th grade basketball I automatically think suicide drills.
Derek fisher, some other college players went to my jr high and coach used to get like the best players he has ever had including himself who and they would beat the dog shite out of us every other saturday lol. We had a scrimmage once we lost by 100-points lol
I looked like an Ethiopian kid on feed the children I was so skinny from all the running I didn't reach 130 pounds until my senior year of high school
frick saturday 3 hour practices of nothing but suicide drills
St george is overrated imho. Defense is going to cost them some games

Editor's note:
In your comparison of St. George to other feats of athletic greatness, Phelps won 8 golds in 2008, not 2012.
Regardless, your coverage has me wildly invested in something that I never imagined caring about.

I just find it incredible how people think 8th grade ball doesn't matter.

Wait. Is this real life?

Yeah it is. CSAL has a big following on here.

The greatest were the OLOM Sunday night pick ups.

I used to use this thread to scout CSAL teams when the team I coached played them

It's really not a question of how good this StG team is because they are very good.
More of a question of how bad the other teams really are. They don't have anyone within the Catholic School system that can even challenge them. The only team that can stay within 15 of them is possibly OLOM. Some bad basketball being played at the other schools in this grade.
