I still love to hate fantasy football
You can actually be on the good side of close games. Didn't think it was possible until this year

David Johnson won't have a slump year.
If you can't get a stud RB, make sure to get a solid RB2 then load up on top WRs. Then, fill your RBs with up and comers that could possibly breakout (L Murray, Gordan, Hill) or backups (Howard, Coleman, Blount)

I learned to stick with my draft. I dropped a few players that if I stuck with I'd still be in first place.

Be patient. Wait as long as possible to see if the players you drafted hit. I also jumped too quickly to pick up people to fill the spot of a player who was doubtful to play.. Wait until the inactive lists come out. I dropped some players who I really wish I had kept.
Also, consider the player's situation and not just his talent.

Never play in more than 5 leagues

There are some fantasy rules that have applied for a long time and will continue to apply:
1) Don't blow a good draft pick on a premier QB.
2) Draft a bellcow RB if you can.
3) Don't draft players on shitty offenses with shitty QB's.
4) Draft known stud's early and high potential late
The rest is luck and paying attention.

Tried that, failed miserably. Went with Julio, Gronk, CJ Anderson... Julio is such a roller coaster.

Completely disagree and would say I learned the opposite lesson.

Look at the top QBs this year. Outside of the top 2 (Rodgers, Brees) the next 5 (Ryan, Mariota, Prescott, Cousins, Carr)
So youre saying you have an elite QB. Cousins happens to be an elite fantasy QB this year. Just because you didn't draft him early doesn't mean he's not elite in fantasy. He didn't mention anything about overdrafting on a big name QB, he said have an elite QB is a must, and he's absolutely right.

Sorry guys let me say I drafted brady in the 8th so I got the best of both worlds. I can see where I would be wrong with Cousins and Mariota. Ryan and Carr where drafted early in my league.
Maybe I just suck at picking qbs

Well, I see your point in that Cousins is a QB1 right now. Although I will say that most of his production has come recently, he has not been elite all year. Also, this year I've started 6 different QBs based on the matchup, most from picking them up off waivers, starting them one week, then dropping them. In fact, I dropped Cousins after 3 or 4 weeks then picked him back up a few weeks later. I've been streaming QBs all year. So no, having an elite QB his not a must.

Eddie Lacy is a fat fricking piece of shite. I bought in so hard on that fat bastard bouncing back to being a top 10 RB
Also, DJ and Evans are elite and will be top 5 picks barring any injuries.

The same rule is always true, it's not who you draft, it's who you pick up. To me, that is always the golden rule in fantasy.

McCarthy is a fricking moron. Oh and fk you John Fox you piece of shite for giving Kareem Carey carries for 2 weeks while just giving Howard like 10 touches in two weeks. Yes I'm bitter I dropped Howard after 2 weeks of doing didly poo bc Fox is a fking idiot

Evans
Could make a case to be top 3 considering talent and target share.
He gets a shite load of targets.

Never draft a RB, WR, or QB on a shitty team. Wil blow up in your face.
