it is all a matter of perspective....the two people are really doing exactly the same thing, but the point of view of the observer is what makes it seem different (i.e. optimist vs pessimist, judgmental vs supportive, etc.)

Because uber is an improvement over most taxicab companies. Delivery pizza from Dominos is barely an improvement over frozen pizza.
