But yet they were smart enough to know not to hire him for the head coaching job. I bet they are happy he is here and not at USC

They also think they're 2003/2004 National Champions

He had the same interim record there and they realized he lost to any good team he played

Was at a bar in LA watching the Bama LSU game and a USC fan talked my ear off the entire time about much he loved coach O because of the few wins he brought them.

That's not what their whole board posted. They admit making a mistake, and are pulling for his success.

Congratulations to Ed Orgeron. He earned and deserved the job by sticking to his philosophy. So many doubted the "aha moment" he had upon returning to USC after the Ole Miss experience. He was a different coach from that point on. USC did not recognize it and many USC fans didn't either. Ed preaches and lives every word of his coaching philosophy, which is very similar to Pete Carroll but yet it is his own. Players can spot a phony from a mile away. LSU Head Coach Ed Orgeron is as genuine as they come. Fight On, Coach O!
What was CEO's a ha moment at USC that this poster is referring to?

Not one of them had anything negative to say about coach O. Our ungrateful ingrates could learn a lesson from the USC fans.

It is nice to read a different perspective.
