Where does Charlie Strong go next?

Can we hire him as a position coach? It'd be good to go 2-deep at DC for when Aranda leaves. Hopefully that's at least a few years from now but we don't know.

Working at UT is a complete cluster F. There are too many booster 'bosses' who can say and do what they wish after which the coach can count on 0 support from his AD. For example, the day Charlie Strong was hired, Red McCombs let the world know that Strong was not his choice. No response from the UT AD. Herman will find out. Granted, he will get millions, but...

Let's do like Bama and hire him as a "consultant" on the cheap while Texas pays his arse. This way if Aranda leaves in a few years we have him as DC....plan a head for a change

was told that Strong already has multiple offers...one was a spot on the defensive staff for the Dallas Cowboys, and another offer was for a DC spot at some college...he won't be unemployed long unless he wants to be.

There have been rumors that Arkansas wants him as DC. That's not a good thing for LSU if he does, he'll be an excellent DC. Think he's a head coach again within 3 years, probably sooner.
