Not guaranteed, but he probably will be.
I'll bet Texas is more relevant to the CFP in 3 years than LSU is.

Strong's biggest issues came because he didn't have the full support of a number of influential boosters. That had a corrosive effect, IMO.
Herman get a ton of support. Texas already runs a spread system, so there will be a smooth transition. He'll bring in a new defensive staff, and that team is going to be stacked next year.
