Well we KNOW that O was a failure as a full time HC

So tell me, who's the bigger risk??

No one would hire anyone using that transitive property.

So what you're saying is hire someone who sucked at their previous job as a head coach?

Because Brian Kelly was at CINCINNATI, then NOTRE DAME.

Notre Dame has a much worse recruiting base than LSU. Also, Brian Kelly is a different type of coach, and Notre Dame is just overall a different type of school than LSU.

Its comparing apples to oranges.

He will be better than Kelly if he doesn't kill a kid for some practice footage.

I say it all the time, football is about 30% talent 70% circumstance. Things have to line up just right to be successful

How many coaches and players have you seen do poor to avg then a change of circumstance and they are world beaters or vice versa?

Very rare can one go to a different situation and keep that level of success

Mark dantonio was meh at Cincinnati and then has been the best head coach Michigan State has had in the modern era.

Saban had one year at toledo and went 9-2. Then went on to Michigan State. Where he didn't win more than 6 games in his first 3 years.

Brian Kelly is handcuffed when it comes to recruiting. If you're going to try to make this stupid argument, then just use Sumlin
