I want to get this straight. It's Fisher and has been Fisher but in order to take the pressure off of Fisher, LSU entered into negotiations with the Houston coach and leaked the negotiations to create a smokescreen for the media that suggested it was Herman and not Fisher. LSU did this while apparently leaking the information about the subterfuge to a poster on the Coaching Changes Board. Do I understand this right?

I don't think LSU has had any contact with Tom Herman and there has never been a meeting with his people.
