No he will be fine. He sited his source that it was Jimmy's info. Jimmy just gets butthurt when message board posters use his exclusive one of a kind info as their own.

This would apply if I wasn't being given accurate info on Fisher throughout. It's certainly possible. Jimbo could still take the deal, too. A lot to consider.

Jimmy, what is your gut feeling that LSU winds up with *either* Jimbo or Herman? Not holding you to it... just curious.

Since they have already met with Coach O do you think something breaks tonight?

Let me help you...Chris Allen gave a silent, was supposed to go public, but changed his mind the next day. Gave a silent to Bama three months earlier.

Ok, just in case my reading comprehension is off, basically Allen is currently a silent Bama commit right now. He just did not want to go public with it that is all. And if this is correct, in your gut do you feel this is final or does LSU has any shot whatsoever.

They've had a report before that Herman actually preferred LSU.

I'm not talking about Herman himself. I'm just pointing out that every article which cited those close to him said that UTa was his dream job blah blah blah.

He may have preferred UTa over all others at one time. Then he may have been tipped off about things behind the scenes there and how screwed up they are. Then his friend gets the DC job at LSU. The rest is an old narrative spilled out by media hacks with no up to date solid sources.

Orgeron is still considered a "strong candidate," according to sources briefed on LSU's search. The Louisiana native has endeared himself to the fans, players, boosters and LSU's administration.
If the up and downvotes on this site are any indication, this is completely false.

I respect the job Jimmy does. Its a tough job reading thru all the misinformation in recruiting and so on. Unfortunately, from my experience, coaches and recruits generally use the media to get extra attention from other schools or for their own reasons. Its kind of like wanting your buddy to tell your ex that you have a new, hotter chick. That being said, the only people who truly know what's going to happen are Fisher, Herman and their agents.

Did you read that whole article from the OP? It's so full of rah rah Coach O shite, it leads me to believe that all of these jerkoffs are just trying to sour the deal so they can get their coonass in there.

It's not just this:
quote:

Orgeron is still considered a "strong candidate," according to sources briefed on LSU's search. The Louisiana native has endeared himself to the fans, players, boosters and LSU's administration. One source close to Orgeron said he has contacted several potential offensive coordinators and will present his list, along with his vision for the program, to Alleva. With Fisher likely staying put at Florida State, it appears Orgeron has become the No. 2 option for LSU.
But the linked articles and their thumbnail descriptions are such O dickriding, it's comical.

quote:

LSU played Texas A&M and a rumor broke out. Again???

It's a credit to Orgeron . . . that LSU had a season high in points and 624 yards. . .
quote:

The best coach for LSU would be ?
and when you click, it's a picture of O. Last but not least:
quote:

LSU and coach Orgeron NEED each other, regardless of how this turns out
Yeah, jerk me off again, Jimmy.

Jimmy didn't write that article you are quoting. Not sure why you are calling him out. Look at the byline.
