What's your favorite pieces of duck gear?

So I was thinking the other day in the blind about how everyone has a piece or two of hunting gear that has become invaluable to them. What are yours?
I'll start:
- jet sled/decoy sled: no way I could make the hunts I do without it.
- backpack blind bag: probably not as useful for people without long walks in, but for me it is a lifesaver. Traditional blind bags were awkward to carry in the mile plus I often haul in but this way I distribute the weight evenly and it gives me tremendous capacity for gear.
- fingerless wool gloves: these gloves are crucial in cold, wet weather. They retain warmth even when wet but allow dexterity needed to shoot, load shells, etc...
- shotgun butt 5 shell holder: it's awesome for keeping a handfull of shells easily accessible when walking out to finish cripples. Doesn't get in the way of shooting but allows for easy access in a pinch
- breathable waders: even in sub freezing conditions I stay warm and they are irreplaceable for long walks in. Neoprenes wear my arse out if the walk is anything more than a couple hundred yards
I realize a lot of the stuff is particular to your situation, whereas some of the stuff (fingerless wool gloves for example) are a lot more widely applicable. So what's the OB's favorite gear?

#1 is my backpack. I have the Drake "Walk In" backpack, its pretty large but I like to bring a bunch of shite.
#2 is minor but neoprene 24 shell holder that clips across d-rings on waders. Also has zipper pouch in middle for phone. Actually Banded brand. Ive always just stuffed shells in my pocket until I got this gem last year.

I just got my Drake walk in since I hunt public. Can't wait to break it in this weekend.
Ghillie since I like to sit on a short stool in the marsh the Ghillie allows me to sit up with worrying about sticking out too much.
Looking to buy a quiver magnet for those dead calm days. Cause I've seen them take ducks out of our pond and put them in others when they are circling.

I will 3rd the Drake Walk-in backpack. I walk or ride a bike in on public land. It holds all my junk.
Banded Mallard foam shell decoys. Carry a full dozen, and they weigh 2 pounds. Those, 5-7 teal, a couple of wood ducks, baby mojo and a teal mojo all in the backpack.

Since the first 3 comments were on this I'll have to give it a look. Does it sit good? As in when you set it down, does it sit open where you can reach for shells easily? How about the water resistance?

I've been on hunts without one in the marsh... Brutal. Carrying decoys, guns, bags, and everything in between through thigh high mud for 100+ yard is a pain... Due to the simple fact that 2 trips are for pussies, the sled has saved me from becoming one.

fingerless wool gloves:
I tried a pair and it just didn't work for me. Might need to find a lighter pair with longer finger cutouts..

What didn't work? What issues did you have with them? I guess if I had short fingers they wouldn't work as well but I assume you can by smaller sizes if that's the case. And if it's warm enough not to need them, I rarely wear any gloves and if I do they are mesh gloves that I cut the fingers off of.

Best piece of gear I have is a game winner heavy duck jacket. It is a well thought out jacket: has zippered and magnet pockets, the hand pockets on the outside are high to avoid water and fleece-lined, it has a good that can cinch and a secondary neck flap for boat rides, etc etc etc. it has turned hunts that used to be miserable into solid outings. And it was $70.

Best 3 pieces of gear I own and all in one pic. My shell vest, a Harrell&Sons bag, and my Mag Stalker

That's a nice looking bag. All I can find on them is a Facebook page. Do they have a website or a price list anywhere?

Not the exact one Just an example but it's a glove I've had for a long time. It's a mitten for he left hand and has a pocket to keep your right hand in Keeps your right hand free to call.

McAlister shell vest and diddy bag. I've had both for 15-20 years and they're as stylish as I ever.
