Folks who run pay sites have more politics involved in this whole thing. They want access and under the table promises. That is why the Pro-Ogrerites were in full force at those places. O knew what he was doing getting Podamsky on staff. Propaganda at its worst.

At this point If Jimbo comes it's because he want to be at LSU.

FSU is giving him everything he wants.

This was always going to be the case. Jimbo and Sexton are going to work FSU and LSU against each other and Jimbo is going to get everthing he wants. It just depends on where he wants to be and I have very little faith that a National championship coach is going to walk away from his current program if the offered packages are the same.

Fisher wants more control over his program and more money for hires and staff raises.

So basically the same thing he wanted last year. Apparently still didnt get it from FSU so still looking to jump to LSU.

Fisher will never get the control he wants. Now he will get the money for the assistances but it's all about control. And Bowden and the other booster want give that up.

Isn't this how LSU usually hires it's football coach?
We put out list of the top coaches in the country and assume that LSU is their dream job. In the end we get left overs.

I just don't see FSU giving Fisher a bump to 6.75 mill (if that is the current number).

If they do you up the ante.

Fisher won't leave for same $ IMO.

LSU gonna have to make him say yes b/c deal is too good to pass up.

FSU would be crushed for not matching a coach that brought them a national championship.

They just renegotiated his deal at FSU last year. They got the buyout in. From their perspective they cant give a guy a raise in a season he lost a bunch of conference games at home to ACC doormats. I think LSU has more leverage and flexibility to make the deal happen.

Told y'all Fisher is not getting a raise. He wants near total control and larger budget for his football team.

LSU appears to be too late. Thrasher and Jimbo are tight and he's willing to give Fisher what he wants now that Sexton has spoken to FSU officials. There are not more secrets, which do not bold well for us.

Even so LSU is not quitting. They continue the full court pressure.
