7th grade at martin jr high school. walking up the stairs to english class when it was announced on the intercom.

lots of cheering and the teachers were PO'd
about it. kennedy was not liked in the south land.

Walking in from practice for a high school playoff game when the news came. My first thought was "Now Goldwater will be President" (Yeah, I was alt.right even then ).

The game was played that night and we lost.

Sunday I watched Oswald get capped on live TV.
