He turned a dumpster fire also known as Texas Tech into a winner and then turned another dumpster fire also known as Washington State into a winner.

Imagine what he could do with LSU talent and an Aranda D.

Sure he is weird and easy for the emotional and insecure to dismiss, and, know this will never happy, but, he would crush it at LSU.

NO, no, no. Mike Leach will NEVER coach in the SEC. Ever. Never, ever. Never....ever.

He is a good fit out west. I loved reading his book. But the fans and administration at LSU would never get him and he would do something they would probably send the program into turmoil. I like watching his teams, but he is a better fit out west.

Will repeat my comment from yesterday.

He is the Weird Al Yankovic of CFB

A genius in his own way, but should never be taken too seriously.

Disagree on a bad fit for the SEC. I think he'd work in a place like Starkville

Too much of a loose cannon. Wouldn't be a good fit here.

"work" equals national championships and elite performance over many years.

Leach has a much better chance "working" at LSU than he does at Miss St dude

When he threw 60 passes in one game he was asked, "why do you run such an unbalanced offense?" He said, "it's very balanced, we threw 15 to running backs, 15 to tight ends, and 30 to wide recievers."

Dude is a hell of a football coach. Not sure he's a great fit at LSU.. but I can dream

I really hope he doesn't end up somewhere like South Carolina, Kentucky, Miss St, or Ole Miss.

Oh, yeah because Starkville is known for it's loving acceptance of bizarre & weird individuals. The first time he starts talking about pirates they'd start raising money for a buyout.

Except he has. His offense got Tim Couch drafted #1 overall.
