Hope Trump bulldozes these fricking idiots.
Booing the damn VP. The cast wrote him a letter read in their curtain call saying they hope he defends all their diverse rights. fricking children. frick them they need to be steamrolled.

It's distasteful, but if I had just become the VP, then some random and irrelevant people booing me would be of little importance--especially knowing that it's the president that they're most upset about.

Lord, I had made up my mind not to post on this board for a while. I finally visit it tonight and read this crap. 
First of all, I'm surprised Mike Pence would even want to attend a Broadway show given his well documented disdain toward gays that goes back decades. He's published articles urging employers not to hire gays and supported moving AIDS funding to reperative therapy. The lead performer is an openly gay man who is HIV positive. WHY in the hell would he even want to come to this?
I watched the video and the cast were actually very respectful to him.
I love these people that Tump is putting in his adminstration though. The more extreme, racist and right wing they are the more it's gonna galvanize the Democrats.
It's gonna be a fun four years!

...I just watched the video ( link ) and like 2 people in the audience booed.
One of the main cast members then told the crowd not to boo and welcomed Pence and thanked him for seeing their show. He told him a lot of the people there had concerns about their administration and hoped that they would protect all people. I thought it was very respectful, and besides it maybe being slightly annoying for people there who don't want to hear broadway castmembers bringing up current politics (although they were at Hamilton, a political story in nature), I can't imagine how people would be offended by it.

I'm guessing you haven't heard about the boos during the performance as well. The cast was working with the audience in between lines to have the booing.

Well he is a "small government conservative" who contradicts his own ideals with his religious morality. It makes him a pretty easy target at a show performed by openly gay people...

Trump and Pence had better get used to being booed when they go out in public. They squeaked into office but they're despised by more than half of the voting public.

If I paid for a good or service provided by a commercial enterprise and upon partaking was booed and excoriated by other patrons and the commercial providers because of my personally held beliefs, I might tend to think a message of exclusion from such a commercial enterprise was being directed toward me and my patronage based solely upon my personally held beliefs.
I guess Pence is glad he wasn't buying a cake...
