I'm sure no one will mention all American and future hall of famer Alan Faneca.

there's another one...

we didn't win a ton back in those days, but that time period sure gave me some fond memories.

This times a gazillion...

Truth is a top 10 list would be hard to come up with because of how difficult it would be to leave some players off

Maybe not the BEST player, but an incredible athlete and my personal favorite: Todd Kinchen

Not many will have a clue who you are referring to...

while I would not include him on my list I salute the scope of your experience being a Tiger fan..

for the young'uns , these numbers speak for themself

Kevin Faulk 1995-98 ... he definitely brought back the magic to TS

1996 - 242 car. 1,282 yds .. 5.2 ypc - 9 games
1997 - 205 car. 1,144 yds .. 5.6 ypc - 8 games
1998 - 229 car. 1,279 yds .. 5.6 ypc - 9 games

LSU career rushing record 4,557 yds in 41 games

Faulk accounted for 376 total yards as a tailback, receiving option, and special teams threat during a win over Houston in 1996. (Leonard had 309 AP yds vs. Ole Miss when he broke the single gm rushing record)

IIRC, Faulk still owns the SEC career all-purpose yards record (6,833 yds) which has stood for nearly 20 yrs

Should a all-time great have to play at least three years? I'm
thinking Laron Landry...
