Done with giving them any ratings, buying their logos, and going to their games.
They don't represent me or my family's values.
Cases in point:
NBA Popovich thoughts on election
Goodell blames Trump on his animals that beat women
I urge all of you to find other hobbies, spend time with your families, read a book, watch anything but this crap that glorifies oversized freakish humans that in the grand scheme of things are paid clowns for entertainment that doesn't matter one ounce.
They have become mouthpieces for the left and SJW causes.
Hit em with the Hein and hurt them in the pocketbook by turning them off and tuning them out.

I agree 100%. I'm not watching any of that crap any more. They're a bunch of overpaid losers anyway.

Yep, I've barely watched any NFL this year.
Absolutely done with these anti-American companies.
I have a huge list of companies and organizations I'm personally boycotting at this point actually.

couple of white knights?

Goodell is always finding new ways to either frick up the game or teams. Hands down the worse NFL commissioner. He's diluted the game and is turning the NFL into circus whose players are reminiscent of guests in the Jerry Springer show except the Jerry Springer show was more entertaining.

I've been done with NBA for 32 years... I'm about done with NFL completely too. frick em. Ungrateful assholes.

yep...its time to speak with our pocketbooks

They have no idea if you are watching or not unless you are participating in a survey.
Pay for cable that broadcast games? You are giving them money.

You'd think at some point these people would realize bowing down to PC culture at the expense of your middle class white customers is retarded.

There's this weird giant ravine between reality - what we see everyday in life at the supermarket at our jobs - life seems normal, race relations seem fine.
And what is reported on TV...everyone hates everyone, transgender bathrooms, racism, people are being rounded up and abused...rights are being denied, minorities couldn't vote, everyone is homophobic.
There's reality...
...and TV reality and they don't even come close to matching what is truthfully happening outside of the boobtube's agenda.

Why would you give a shite about any of their opinions? This is no different from whiny SJW boycotting Netflix because they advertise on Rush Limbaugh's program.

frick ESPN also.

Yea, forgot to add NBA to my list in the other Goodell thread.

My sentiments exactly, they are not the role models I want my 10 year old boy to emulate or admire. I am done supporting these leagues in any financial sense....first order of business was to cancel NFL Sunday ticket, NFL network and the NBA channel. I will no longer buy any of their merchandise or attend their games.

Very happy that I can honestly say it's been well over 10 years since I even remotely tuned in to a NBA game. Never wasted my time watching a bunch of overpaid TPOS. I can count on one finger the time I've watched a NFL game this season.

I've never watched the NBA and very little of NFL besides The Saints. Neither seem to be hurting from my lack of support.
Hopefully eventually.

Goodell's comments are more hypocritical and problematic given their mishandling of discipline and the fact that he's the head of the the league.
But as it relates to Popovich, I think he's gone overboard with the criticisms, but he's at least not as hypocritical as Goodell since he seems to walk the walk; he's also not the head of the league. He's also hilarious and an awesome coach.
In other words, his opinion was an overreaction, but then I don't understand overreacting to an overreaction.
