So 8:30 central time.

I and the wife noticed about 8:30 that it seemed all three cable newscasts had a change in tone with their reporting

That photo of Trump's war room where people were snarking that he didn't look enthused was supposed to have been taken at approximately 9:20 ET, just before the whole race shifted.

When Clinton took Virginia, I thought it was over. I honestly expected it to go red and figured it was the swing state she needed.
Just found it fascinating that he lost one of the swing stated I expected to go his way, but still won by taking a few I didn't. I figure her camp had to be thinking the same (though obviously not as detached about it as I was).

When she made those foreigners believe they would get major ROI, and all they did was make her and Bill rich.
I bet Saudi is trying to figure the best way of handling their losses.

quote:About 7 PM Baton Rouge time. I almost gave up at that time. HRC was leading in Georgia, Florida and N. Carolina. Major shrinkage as explained by George Costanza.
When was the high water mark for HRC campaign on election night?
The next update a few minutes later showed a big jump for Trump in all three states. By 8 PM he was leading in those three states.
"It moved....."

I knew it was turning when no one would call Georgia after 95% was in. Florida was still building and MSNBC was in major meltdown.
I was looking for fireworks.

New Hampshire got my attention as an "indicative" state.
Wisconsin was the "Holy Shite".
I had an idea it was going to be a lot more interesting than anybody expected when we printed out the report at the precinct I worked and the D-R spread change from 2012 was 15 points for Trump.

quote:Yeah, we had a great Florida thread going all day tracking 5 or 6 bellwether counties and Trump was outperforming Romney and Hillary was underperforming Obama. So I was confident by 7 pm central that Trump had Florida won since it was very close and none of the panhandle results were in.
When they were pretending she won Florida around 8:00 Central.
The media was still chearleading for Hillary while Trump was stomping a mud hole in her arse.
