If the left were to somehow try to deny him, I would imagine those protesters Soros is paying would take a serious beatdown.

Perhaps to Trump personally, but barring anything of that nature, he'll be taking the White House. It is political suicide for anyone to try to prevent it via other means. Hillary conceded, the surrogates have conceded, it's over.

Can you imagine the absolute circus that the inauguration will be if this keeps up?

Well there is that little thing about all those UN troops massing...

Expect something serious to happen before then...

The only thing I fear from the left at this point is Trump's personal safety and that of his family. As far as keeping him from becoming President, it's going to happen unless something terrible (I don't want to say the "a" word) happens. He will be the 45th President of the United States at noon, January 20, 2017 even if for some reason there isn't an inauguration. The oath is a formality. That's my understanding at least; someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I'm confident at this point. Hilary had conceded and Trump will finish around 306 EVs. There would literally be an armed revolution if the left tried to keep him out of the White House, and the left wouldn't win that fight. They won't try it.

I would have been very nervous if we were having a 2000 scenario now.

The good news is the liberal leaders are accepting of the outcome. It's the dumb young college kids perpetuating it

People keep talking about the state of the republican party and how it may never recover, but just look at what the democrat arty has become in just 8 years. Dems have completely shot themselves in the foot. They opened up their doors to the worst of characters and now can't get rid of them.

you're thinking of that elector out in Washington State who came out and said she was not use her vote for Hillary when the time came.

Irrelevant now.

The oath is NOT a formality. It is expressly written in, and required by, the Constitution. If you recall, John Roberts flubbed Obama's oath, and they had to do it over behind closed doors in case of some kind of Constitutional challenge.

I had this conversation with my wife last night. When Obama was elected I kind of thought for a second what if some psycho KKK reject was able to get to him before he's sworn in? It was sort of a passing thought at the time. So much has changed since then and these loony fricks out there protesting and destroying shite are a special kind of idiot way more dangerous than racist whitey 8 years ago.
