Why is it so bad for white people to be voting in he same manner that minorities have for so long? If it's OK for African Americans , Hispanics and LGBT types to engage in identity politics, then why is it so repugnant for the European Americans to do so?

I think that the Democrats work too hard to carve out specific Demographic groups, and do it in a way that explicitly and implicitly tells the white majority that they are racist if they don't go along.
Anytime the Democrats help one group, they try to blame the problem on the white majority - either to shame or guilt them into going along.
Why can't we try to help end poverty in the inner city? Why do we have to say that poor blacks are living in poverty because of racist whites? That is not uplifting or helpful.
If the Democrats are going to circle the wagons and call Trump a racist, then we won't accomplish anything.
