Playing at TS especially when GameDay is there isn't a good thing based on the past.

Against Bama with GameDay
We are 2-6 overall
0-3 at home
2-2 at Bama
0-1 neutral site.

One thing is for sure . Lsu is never as good as fans think we are. We could be number one and that would hold true. The patriots aren't as good as we think we are

I think it's more like "Other teams aren't as good as many people think they are."

See: Ohio State, Louisville, Tennessee, Auburn, Nebraska, Baylor, Texas A&M, West Virginia, etc..

This. To think otherwise is foolish. It will take something special from Fournette, keeping their D or Special Teams off the board, and/or points off a freshman mistake from Hurds to win this game.

Also, just my 2 cents.
Losing 5 straight games to the team that is CURRENTLY ranked #1 in the country, Thomas' comments were completely out of line. Shut your reserve safety playing mouth and let your actions do the talking.

Maybe with Les Miles as coach but we have the WRs and backs to beat bama with a good game plan. We not going to take 5 seconds to throw the ball. Quick throws to start get TEs backs in the flat and then gash them. They aren't superman out there, they are kids just like we have. We now have coaches that will at least try to out coach the other team. They will be ready to play and they will believe they can beat bama. To answer our QB is much better than theirs and you will see that Saturday night. These corners are going to lock their WRs up and our Front seven is gonna play lights out. Can't wait for this game. Bama isn't going to just destroy us. Not gonna happen.

Yes I Think our defense is straight up nasty. If our o line cand do anything resemblance of a block we can win. If our o line looks like last year! Well we are fricked

Good god guy, have you been sleeping the last few weeks and not realize that miles and Cameron are gone? We actually have a passing game and a non predictable offense. Some of you, like you, are as ignorant as fk.

I think we don't have enough evidence yet.

3 SEC wins are against the last place teams in both divisions and the next to last place team in the West.

2 other wins are against rent-a-win opponents.

2 losses were very close and to ranked teams.

We are about to find out how good LSU is or isn't.

Remember last year? Harris put up good numbers until bama

I know elmore fudd is gone but bama has a way of making our offense non existent

That's the straight up truth.

Hurts practices against Alabama's defense everyday. Not many teams in America can throw anything at him that he does not see everyday from Saban and staff.

Better rb's and db's.. Our qb is a more accurate passer. Better wr's as a group. Best DE on the field. If our guards hold up and play well we have some play makers that can win.

We can play with and beat Bama because we finally have an offense that they do not know the plays coming at them, a coach who has passion and can fire up the troops, our players will have fresh legs and importantly an attitude now that they have a good offense with the best RB tandem in the USA and finally a QB who is smart and can make plays, and most importantly, a defense who can stop anyone including Bama.

The Tigers are still an unknown quantity, eight weeks into the season. We'll know so much more about this team next week as the competition stiffs up, bigly.

The Tigers can make their bones with an upset of Bama.

As the season progresses, Alabama's wins look less and less impressive....

LSU has the talent to play Alabama or Clemson straight up. The two close losses to two outstanding teams played on the road were costly in what they did to the team's confidence. The team has endured its coach and OC being fired, its starting QB benched, and its all american running back hurt. Alabama hasn't had to recover from that, and its confidence is high. If Alabama wins it is because of that confidence. You only have to read this board and the Alabama board to see the difference in confidence, and that will be mirrored in the minds of each team's players.

Of course LSU can win. The team is talented enough to turn the ball over twice to Alabama and still win. It's the six inches between the ears.

See my post below from the SEC Scoreboard.

Ok. Where's the Gump to make a ban bet?

I'm sick of listening to Gump entitlement. Put your money where your mouth is.

No Gump has given an argument based upon personnel or the way the season has unfolded to justify the confidence Bama will beat LSU.

Your lone top "10" win is now A&M. If you are hanging your hat on a victory over a team that hasnt beaten LSU in 21 years as your intimidation factor then you're fooling yourselves.

I've watched everyone of your games and these are the facts. You have a QB who can't pass and a defense that is ordinary besides scoring points getting turnovers when it's playing from ahead.

You won't get ahead in Death Valley to force LSU into obvious throwing downs and your QB is going to make mistakes against Aranda's defense.

In other words, your about to get a dose of your own medicine.

Don't tell me about the past. Explain to me why you're good enough this year at this point to beat LSU.

I'll hang up and listen.
