I tried to eat a burger every meal this week (lunch and dinner). I always thought to myself that if there is one thing I could eat every meal of my life, it would be a hamburger. Boy was I wrong. I found myself dreading the next meal. Last night, while on eatbr.com trying to figure out which burger to get, I started retching. I quit. frick it, it's not worth it haha. So ended up making it 7 straight meals with a burger. Here are my rankings.

1. The Londoner
6oz. patty stuffed with American cheese, ghost pepper cheese fries topped with bacon and green onion.

This one was amazing. As you bit into it, the cheese stuffed inside the patty oozed out. Every bite was heaven.

2. Burgersmith
Grass fed organic beef seasoned with a savory coffee rub, over hash browns and topped with a cage free fried egg all served between toasted Vienna bread.

I really enjoyed this one. The coffee rub is not overpowering at all. Very subtle. The hashbrowns+egg made this one I couldn't forget.

3. Willie's
Our handmade burger with house slow smoked pulled pork, homemade melted cajun cream cheese, Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce, and crispy golden fried onion rings on a jalapeño sour dough bun.

This one was a lot to handle. Couldn't finish this all in one sitting so I finished the rest for breakfast the next morning. The cream cheese was a very nice touch. The bun was awesome. This burger was very heavy.

4. Mr. Taco
1/3 pound 100% beef burger dressed with cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, lettuce and chipotle sauce. Served on a Bolillo roll.

I originally got this as a joke to my body. It looked like hammered dog shite on the website. It was actually pretty damn good. The bun on this one was amazing. Was pleasantly surprised with this.

5. Duvic's
A half pound of top cut beef flame grilled to perfection. Served on a brioche bun topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, mustard, and pickle.

Nothing too crazy here, just your standard burger. It was grilled to perfection (like always). Good cut of meat. Wish they would have done something like their pizza burger for this event but I was satisfied.

6. Fat Cow
House ground Angus burger topped with praline bacon, double cream brie, garlic aioli, and arugula. Served on a buttery brioche bun.

Not a fan of the sweet bun used for this burger. It soaked up all the juice and became a soggy mess. The bacon and cheese was very good though.

7. Table
Caramelized onion potato roll, covey rise heirloom tomato, fullness farm arugula, applewood smoked cheddar cheese.

This was an anomaly. I've had this burger before and it is VERY good. It just was not good the night I went. Also took about 45 mins to come out. Wasn't cooked how I wanted it. I think this is due to the sheer volume of burger orders that came in when I was there.

Sorry for the shitty pics on some of them. What are your thoughts? Favorite burger so far this week?

It was phenomenal. Also came with sweet potato fries so for $5, it was a great deal.

Only went to Gouter... it could have used more cheese, but the burger patty itself was delicious. Beef/venison combo well seasoned and cooked just right.

Of the ones I've had this week I'd rank them:

1) Your Mom's BBQ burger (fried onion strings & BBQ sauce)
2) Burgersmith Breakfast burger (hash browns, eggs, toast)
3) Overpass Merchant El Guapo (chorizo, fritos, queso)
4) Gouter Venison burger (probably the best meat, rest of it average)
5) City Pork (good bun, small patty, enjoyed pimento cheese/Southern Wild sauce)
6) Lasseigne's (bacon cheeseburger, extra mayo and small patty killed it for me)

I'm burgered out.

The Merchant is a glaring omission, Great burger. I can sympathize with not wanting to eat another burger after all that

Yeah man I do want to try the Merchant's. They put out some awesome food. I was trying to do 10 burgers in 5 days and my 3 remaining that I wanted was Gouter, Merchant, and Churchills.

Btw, anyone try Churchills yet? The picture looks awesome even though they grabbed it off of Google lol.

Interesting, my patty was small as well. Only complaint about that one.

Merchant burger was very good. For those that havent tried it, you need to.

Is it really that hard? I have been planning 28 burgers in 28 days for Feburary. I was going to do a Blog and rank them and all.

I feel like I could eat Hamburgers every day. Just want to lose some more weight before I baloon back up.

Thanks for compiling that! Those look awesome. I agree the Londoners burger was very good. Trying to decide between Willies and City Pork tonight.

This deal on the burgers at the listed restaurants in BR is only for this week, so there was no way he would have gotten to 28 anyway.
